Lorraine Montez, Jameson Lorraine Montez, Jameson Lorraine’s first “official” paying gig was at the tender age of five. She most recently appeared as one of the leads in Chivalry Never Dies for the 48-Hour-Film Festival, and Old Soul — an independent short film. Other recent acting credits include the drunk, debauched and completely-in-denial Mrs. Pascale in ART’s production of House of Yes and playing a man-basher doing yoga in stillotto-heels for the 24-Hour Play Festival. She loves playing Jameson in the Book Club because it’s both a challenging and fun role — giving her the best of both worlds.
Machelle Allman, Wednesday Morning Machelle Allman, Wednesday Morning Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Machelle moved around quite a bit with her Air Force family and completed high school in Brindisi, Italy. Machelle’s has performed on a number of regional stages and in various film, commercial, and TV projects. Recent credits include Human Bondage and The Reunion – both Indie films. Her next stage show is “My Fair Lady” with Centerstage Theatre Conservatory. She enjoys working on Book Club because she loves being surrounded by intelligent, sharp, witty, and hilarious women. She and her husband are parents of a young son.
Jodee Thelen, Carolina Jodee Thelen, Carolina New to Seattle from L.A., Jodee’s been acting professionally since 1980 when she landed the lead in Arthur Penn’s film ”Four Friends”. She played Adam Sandler’s sister in “The Wedding Singer” and was in the original cast of Neil Simon’s ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs’ with Matthew Broderick with a year long run. She has performed in over thirty plays and ten television shows as guest star or lead. She is the mother of a “beautiful talented daughter”. Her favorite part of doing Book Club? The way Carolina’s sarcasm masks her fear of intimacy.
Natalie Jones, Morgan Natalie Jones, Morgan A Nevada native, Natalie relocated to Seattle from NYC in 2006 with her husband and one cat. A singer and actress, she has performed worldwide, as well as off Broadway, off off Broadway and way the hell off Broadway! Credits include: Off Broadway: Inside Out (Sage) Don’t Call Us (Madeline) The Most Happy Fella (Ensemble), Regional: Hair (Sheila), Private Eyes (Cory), Streetcar Named Desire (Eunice) Natalie is currently working on an original music project with her husband and next on a movie filming in LA this summer. She is thrilled to play the character of Morgan and working with the talented cast of Book Club.
Bonnie Brennan, Amy Bonnie Brennan, Amy Bonnie has performed in plays, musicals, commercials, industrial and independent films. Her most recent performance and one of her most rewarding was an educational film helping victims of domestic violence. She is the mother of five, step mom of four and Sunday school teacher of fourteen. Considering how busy her home life is, working on this project has been like a personal retreat. She has truly enjoyed working with this unique and talented group. Her favorite thing about Book Club and becoming “Amy” is discovering the inner beauty and strength that every woman possesses no matter her age, size, or marital status.
